Dublin, March 21.—Twenty-nine persons are know^n to have lieon killed in the bloodiest weekend in Ireland since the present "Campaign" began. It is probable that the death list was much higher on both sides—Sinn Feiners and crown forces—are con¬ cealing their casualties. '
It was declared in some quarters today that the deaths may have totaled nearly fifty.

Berlin, March 21.—Although the German pre.ss claimed an overwhelming victory for Germany in the upper Silesia plebiscite, official advices received during the course of the day showed that the Poles were successful in .some districts. The German foreign office conceded Polish victories over the Germans in the Pless and Rybnik districts in the Southern part of upper Silesia.
The Inter-Allied Plebiscite Commission, which has made a careful study of racial conditions, had previously forecast a Pol¬ ish victory in those areas.
An outbreak of shooting was reported from Kattowiti;.
Berlin March 21.—The Germans won an overwhelming vic¬ tory over the Poles in the Plebiscite in upper Silesia on Sunday, and upper Silesia will remain German territory instead of being annexed to Poland, according to early returns received here this morning.
