Special musjc was furnished by the Baptist Choir. A younK peoples choir made up of representatives from the Methodist and Presbyterian Churches assisted In leading the slnginK.
On Tuesday night the services were In the' Presbyterian Church and the sermon, was preached by Dr. ESrwln Dennett, pastor of the Baptist Church who beautifully "portrayed "Christ Knocking at the Door" and made a strong: appeal to all who had not done so to let Him come Into their hearts and llVfes with His saving power. j
Special music will be furnished by the I>resbyterlan Choir tonight. The service win be held In the Methodist Church and the sermon will be given by Dr. D. A.'jordon a former pastor of the church. A chorus choir will lead the singing and Mr. Arthur Davlsson will be the soloist.
The spirit of unity manifested In the meetings has been the occasion of much favorable comment and without doubt all the co-operating churches will ber stronger for their association lit this union movement.

Hempstead, March 23.—Owing to a duplication of dates tn the rental of the Village Hall, the OlrlH' Community Ser- vice Club has found It necessary to postpone the presentation of the two one-act plays, "The Maker of Dreams" and "Joint Owners In Spain," which were to have been given April 1. They will be given, instead, on Tuesdar,> April 6, In the Village Hall, opening at 8.16 p.m.
The plays will be followed by dancing, for which Jennings' Orchestra will fur¬ nish the music.
The club girls explain that they had not intended to fool their friends on i !£!."'il.'_.'^"l April 1, and offer their apologies, at the same time promising that those who at¬ tend on the new date will be well repaid.

Garden City, March 23.—The newly elected village ofllcials met here last night for the purppse of reorganizing the village government body for the coming year.
There Is o^ily one new member to be seated since all of the other elective offl- dais have served before. The new man ia John R. Savage, general passenger agent of the Long Island Railroad company.
H. I..OUI8 NalsRwoId, formerly village trustee was advanced to the village presldcmt's chair and the work of that offlce, to take the place of George L. Hubbell who becomes a trustee.
C. Walter Randall was reappointed village counsel; E. R. Courtney was re¬ appointed villager clerk and C. R. McKay was r^-appolnted Street Commissioner.
The police appointments will be made at a later day.
