Freeport, April 27.—Miss Klizabeth Schneiker of North Bergen place, was given a shower at the home of Mrs. F. Q. Hill on Buyvlew avenue on Satur¬ day afternoon. Mrs. William Wolfe and Miss Mildred Hill were hostesses.
Most of Freeport's younger set were there and spent'the afternoon In gttmes, followed by a shower of gifts that spoke voti4mc8 for the popularity of the brid<- to-be.
The house was beautifully decorated In pink and white, rones and ferns being used to carry tho color scheme. Miss Hchneiker'a engagement to Jerome T. Nolan was announced recently. Botb of tho young people aro graduates of the Freeport High Bchool and are very popular here.
