There wUI be a baseball game in tbe morning, between Flre (Company 1 and the Men's Club. In the afternoon there wiil be athletic games foi^ valuable prifees open to men, women, boys and gIris.. There will be a shooting gal¬ lery, "knock down the babies," dari board, grab bag, peanuts, hot dogs, Hott drinks, Ice cream, cake—in fact evert'thlng that wl^ contribute townrd a pleasant and patriotic day. In the evening there wtU be dani.inK in Flre HaU with good music and a display of flreworks.
The aim is to make this the best public affair ever held in Merrick. Neighbors living in the vicinity of Flre Hall are requested to decorate their houses.
