Patricia Kraus, of Plainedge
High School, will receive a two
year scholarship award to the
State University, Farmingdale,
by the Long Island Chapter of
the National Secretaries
Association.
WAC Specialist Four Patricia Quinn ( left), daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles J. Quinn, 144 Massachusetts Ave., Massapequa, was
named WAC of the quarter for the Brooke Army Medical Center,
Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Presenting the award is Major General Conn L. Milburn J r .,
commanding general of Brooke Army Medical Center at the fort.
A personnel specialist in the center's Women's Army Corps
Company, Spec. Quinn was selected for her knowledge and performance
of duties and military courtesy.
Spec. Quinn entered military service in February 1967 and
completed basic training at Ft. McClellan, Alabama.
The specialist is a 1965 graduate of Massapequa High School.
