Ice Cream float Nourishing
Summertime Snack
Most everyone is happy to see
Summer arrive for it means warmer
weather and more outdoor
activity. The children are able to
participate in the active games
and sports which were impossible
to do during the cold Winter
months and adults find gardening,
tennis, golf and other active
forms of recreation on their free
time schedule. All of this increased
activity burns up plenty
of energy and it is a good idea to
have a good supply of nourishing
snacks on hand. An ideal Summertime
snack suggestion is an
ice cream milk drink which also
features fruit. What could be
more nourishing?
Summer Float is a perfect
warm weather beverage idea for
it combines nourishing ingredients
all of which can easily be
on hand in every refrigerator and
kitchen cupboard. The milk and
ice cream in this recipe can lielp
satisfy the daily dairy food requirements
of 3 to 4 glasses of
milk each day for children, 4 or
more glasses ofmilkeachday for
teenagers and 2 or more glasses
of milk each day for adults. The
next time you want a nourishing
snack for yourself and your
family try serving Summer Float
and you will certainly find it a
favorite.
