Kings County Pays Dividend Security Reports Net Earnings Up ' Young Mozart'

of over $ 272,000 was paid
on January 1, 1967 to 14,000
depositors of the bank's Massa-pequa
Office - the largest dividend
ever paid at this office
since it opened in June, 1961.

Security National Bank of Long
Island reported assets of $ 506,-
488,632 at year's end, compared
to $ 400,717,440 on December 31,
1965, a 26% increase.
The bank also reported net
operating earnings for the twelve
months ending December 31,
1966, after applicable taxes, of
$ 3,714,210. This represents
$ 2.40 per share on 1,545,986
shares, compared with $ 3,047-
880 or an adjusted $ 1.97 per

a businessman in Massapequa
is Peace Corps Director of Public
Information. He explained that
the meeting is one of a series
so that parents of volunteers
can get to know one another.

by the Massapequa PTA's, will
be presented on Saturday, January
14, at Massapequa High
School.
A spokesman for the group
said no decisions have been made
about the location of future Massapequa
Childrens Theatre productions,
but Young Mozart had
to be moved to Massapequa High;
School, due to the recent vandalism.
Tickets will be on sale at the
door for $ 1.00 apiece, and of
course, all subscription tickets
to this play will be honored
at this new location. The performance
will start at 2 p. m. and
will let out one hour later.

New York State's new all- car inspection law will greatly increase
the number of inspections to be made. At the beginning of this
program, delays in obtaining inspections may be encountered.
To avoid any delays or inconvenience, the Department of
Motor Vehicles makes these suggestions, based on the schedule
at left:
^ If your vehicle falls within Groups 3 or 4, have it inspected as
early as possible. The next time you bring your vehicle in to
be serviced may be the most convenient time to have the inspection
made.
^ If your vehicle falls within Group One, have it inspected as
early as possible during your scheduled inspection month.
( Remember that for these vehicles, the scheduled month of
inspection includes the specific month set forth in the schedule
and the month immediately preceding.)
^ If your vehicle falls within Group Two, have it inspected as
early as possible in October.
Remember that except for vehicles in Group Three, your vehicle
must be inspected before you may renew your registration
next time.
