              Women Report Purses Stolen
At Local Teenage Club
LEGAL NOTICE
Two petty larcenies were r e ­ported
to have taken place at
the P. J. Discotheoue at 354 Main
Street, Farmingdale.
According to a police report,
on Friday a wallet was stolen
out of the purse of Millie Epsom
of Lindenhurst.
On Sunday, a ladies purse,
owned by Sonia Conza of 1116
McKenna Place, Uniondale, was
stolen, according to the police.

Result In Arrest
Police are investigating the
reported theft of auto parts from
parked cars at the Brune Motors
parking lot on 461 Fulton Street,
Farmingdale.
Joseph DiMaggro of 918- 06
Main Street, South Farmingdale,
reported to police that a battery
was stolen from his parked car
in the rear driveway of his home,
between the hours of 9: 45 a. m.
and 6: 15 p. m.
Several reports of petty lar­ceny
of newspapers outside of
the Merritt Sweet Shop at 194
A Merrittt Rd. was reported to
Eighth Precinct police during
the past week.
At 3; 15 A. M. on Wednesday
morning, police arrested Harverf'
Rathsan, 28, of 18 Hamlet Road,
Levittown, at 139 Michele
Avenue, Farmingdale.
Rathsan was charged with lar­ceny
of 125 newspapers which
were left outside the shop dur­ing
the night. He was taken to
police headquarters for arraign­ment.
A police spokesman told the
OBSERVER that rhere has been
a rash of newspaper thefts dur­ing
the night hours in various
Nassau County communities. The
newspapers are delivered during
the late night and early morning
hours in time for morning news­stand
sales.

were reported to the Eighth
Precinct police this past week.
Thomas Corcoran of 220 Fulton
Street reported that pellets
created window damage at his
auto agency.

Mr. Krasnow has long been a c t i v e in Community
a c t i v i t i e s , both c i v i c and r e l i g i o u s , and has been in­volved

Mr. Drugan has been Chairman of the V i l l a g e P l a n ­ning
Board for the past six y e a r s . During this time he
has been instrumental in d e v e l o p i n g , for the Board of
T r u s t e e s , comprehensive plans for the development of
F a r m i n g d a l e .
He served for two years as D i s t r i c t Chairman for the
Community Chest and p a r t i c i p a t e d in various other
c h a r i t a b l e d r i v e s . He serves as an aide to the St.
K i l i a n ' s Boy Choir as well as being a member of the
Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus. He is
a member of the Royal Arcanum Society.
During World War II he served as an instructor in
the Strategic Air Command of the Air Force. He is em­ployed
by the Gifford Construction Company of M e l v i l le
as a drainage engineer.
Mr. Drugan, a resident of Farmingdale for the past
15 years resides with his wife and two children at 30
Hill Road.
