Notice is hereby given that
pursuant to Article 13, Section
212 of the Town Law, an election
of the SOUTH FARMINGDALE
WATER DISTRICT will be held in
the Farmingdale Fire District
Fire House, South Main Street
and Linden Avenue, South Farmingdale,
New York and also in the
North Massapequa Fire House,
Broadway and Albany Avenue,
North Massapequa, New York
on December 5, 1967 between
the hours of 4 p. m. and 10
p. m., for the purpose of electing
a Water Commissioner for
the term of three years in place
of Ellsworth W. Allen, whose
term of office will expire December
31, 1967.
Pursuant to Section 215, Subdivision
20, of the Town Law
all candidates for District office
shall file their names with
the Secretary of the Board of
Commissioners at least ten ( 10)
days prior to the date of elections;
all such nominations must be
submitted in petition form subscribed
to by twenty- five ( 25)
voters of the District.
QUALIFICATION OF VOTERS
Article 13, Section 213 of the
Town Law provides as follows:
No person shall be entitled
to vote for improvement district
commissioners unless he or she

shall have resided in the improvement
district for a period
of thirty ( 30) days next- preceding
any election of commissione
