phase of the Youth Council Winter
Swim Program.
Fourth or fifth grade students
residing in School District # 22
wishing to participate in the
Farmingdale Youth Council
swimming instruction program
should register this Saturday at
the Mill Lane Junior High School
between 10: 00 a. m. and 12: 00
noon.
A series of seven Saturday
morning lessons will be given
at the Morton Swimming Pool
in West Islip. Red Cross instruction,
transportation and supervision
is offered. The self-sustaining
and the fee is twelve
dollars for the seven session
program.
Cadette Troop Camps Outdoors
Cadette Troop # 157 recently
completed a weekend of primitive
camping at Camp Secatogue
in Old Bethpage. Despite the cold
weather, the girls managed a
great job of pitching their own
tents, cooking and eating their
own camp fire stew. For many
of the thirty girls, it was a first
experience outdoors.
