Milwaukee.— Charles Orvel Pitcher bas been sentenced to four years in the state i)ri8on after having admitted that he had been married to eight dif¬ ferent women.
Pitcher was convicted of having been married tw Mrs. Anna Pojipert of Mil¬ waukee, who was referred to as wife No. 6. and to Mrs. Bertha Rasmussen of Sioux City, la., without being di¬ vorced from either woman. He mar¬ ried Mrs. Rasmussen April 0. 1908, and Mrs. Poppert on June I.', 1913, it was said.
