Such tag shall bear the same date mil seiial inunbe^r as the lieeniie. The owner of tho dog so licenso.1 shall placo an.l keop around tbo neck of such doff a collar of leather or other suilablo material, and ¦hail attach such tag to such collar by means ot rivets, metal bands or other suitable devlcea An owner ot a dog shall not permit a licensed dog to be witliout such collar and tag during tho period of tho license.
And where the license thns Iseuejd Is tho special kennel license hereinbefore pro¬ vided tor. It ahall be the duty of the city or town clerk to deliver lo the person to whom the special kennel license Is deliv¬ ered as many metal tags bs there are do^s over six months ot age covered by such special license. The town or city clerk shall altio be paid by the person to whom the samo is Issued a tag fee of twenty- five cents for each tag liisued.
A new tag with a new numher shall be furnished to the owner of a licensed dog by the city or town clerk. In place ot the original tag, upon presentation of the li¬ cense and proof of the losa of such origi¬ nal tag. The clerk shall endorse the new nunit>er of such tag on such license, and ¦hall enter It upon the reglatry. The clerk shall receive for his sei^'lces In Issuing such new tag the sum ot twenty-flve conts.
