However, the plan haa met with the approval of the church people and Is taken as the right step forward. Following is the petition with those who have endorsed the plan:
"Real Kstate Brokers of Freeport. We. the undersigned, engaged in the real estate busines in Freeport, and bellevmg It to be the best interest of the village, hereby agree to close onr placea' of business on Sundays, and to keep the same closed except by special appointments with prospec¬ tive customers. It is further agreed to place a sign in each of our win¬ dows leading as follows: 'This Place Closed on Sundays.'

The brokers have been maintaining open shop in this village for years, but with the exception of persons who have called oii .special appointments the visitors have been largely those who have come out for joy rides. This will ind in the future, as those who have signed, jtnd mo.Ht of them own aiitoivobiles, will show places to the persons who are out for business ; only. As these appointments will be ' genuine. It will also allow the real estate broker to spend the day with his family, a thing almost forgotten in tbe past, in summer.
