Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Verity, Jr., gave a large and elaborate ~ dancing and card party last week at their home on Harrison avenue. The floral decora¬ tions were in pink and with the love¬ ly gowns worn by the laSIes the rooms presented a gay and decorative appearance. There were six tables playing Five itundred, the prizes for which were "wonjjy Mrs. B. W. Verity Sr., Mrs. Gembom Boate, Mrs. H. K Frost, E. W. Verity, Sr., N. L. Coop¬ er arid Gorshom Boate. The non- players^rize was won by Miss Doro¬ thy Doerlng. An elaborate supper was served at small tables, after which dancing was generally indulg¬ ed in until an early hour.
