To-morrow evening, in the auditofi um of the Grove Street school, a comedy in three acts entitled "The Three Chauffeurs," will be given by the Training Class of Freeport. Ex¬ tensive preparations have been made to make this a financial ag well as a social success.

A musical Mock Trial ^;ivcn under the auspices of the Kpworth League of the Freeport Methodist Church at Brooklyn Hall on Monday evening was a decided success although the weather prevented many who had pur¬ chased tickets from attending. The trial was staged under the direction of the author, Charles .1. Martin, who is also president of the League. At the request of those who were unable to be present the trial will be repeat¬ ed on December llth, at the same place. •
The oourt room setting,was com¬ plete. The part of the Judge taken j by H. G. Peterkin was unusually clev-1 er. Albin N. Johnson, was a compe-1 tent clerk. Stanley E. Uaynor was \ the plaintiff and Miss Annie Redell, I the defendant. Harold K. Brown re¬ presented the former and Piatt K. Wiggins the latter. The Misses Helen K. Turner, Adelaide Decker, Helen DtH'Ker and Anna S. Crossfteld repre- sened he feminine sex.
The vedict of the jury was* so un¬ usual that It behoves all who can, to attend the second performance.

Carl Henry
Carl Henry, an actor of prominence, for a long time a resident of the vil¬ lage of Freeport, died at Saranac Lake December Ist after a lingering Illness of several months." The funeral ser¬ vices were held In Freeport where the body was brought by Albro Schiller, a close friend.
Mr. Henry was one of the most beneficent of his profession. He was constantly contributing money or his time to assist some worthy charity. He was formally the leading come¬ dian in the "Top of the World," com¬ pany which ran on Broadway a whole season.
He Is survived by a widow and one son, 0«rl, Jr. Southard and Ntoore were the funeral directors.
