HIPPODROME BOX OFFICE NEVER CLOSED
FIRST ALL - NIGHT THEATRE TICKET OFFICE IN NEW YOBK.
New York has had ita all night license for restaurants, ita day and night bank, its all-night barber shops and eating places and now comes the 24-hour box offlce at the Hippodrome. This dramatic necessity was caused by the demand for seats at Charles Dil¬ lingham's vast playhouse wbere the
I seats are now on sale for the balance of 1915, including Chriatmas and New i Year's Eve and New Year'a night.
The treasurers at the big play- I houae have begun their endless grind in the box-office that will never close i until the big record sale is over. Since "Hip Hip Hooray" opened so bril- i liantly, patrons have been inquiring when holiday seats would be obtain¬ able and thc management decided to open the advance sale earlier than customary.

A few days since a Nassau Post representative while making the rounds of the busingss section found in the Chubbuck drug store a most unique as well as beautiful doll house for Ilttle folks and holiday home dec¬ orations and upon investigation lo¬ cated at 132 South Main street, oppo¬ site Uncle Billy Patterson's, the doll house manufactory.
Mr. Loewe, the proprietor, took us around and exhibited the real won¬ ders of the twentieth century la house building.
These doll houses are necessarily small, three to flve feet tall and two to three feet wide, containing six sep¬ arate and complete rooms, including kitchen and bathroom with minia¬ ture flxtures and furnishings, as much in detail as any large house. Yet this was not all. The walls and reillngs were decorated and the floors carpeted. Last but not least the wiiole house was lighted by an indi¬ vidual electric fixture in each room.
Wo learned that there is not only a groat call for those doll hou.ses by large department stores, such as Wan- rimakor's, bnt by private families for home decorations.
Bellmore Defeated.
Uellmore was defeated last Friday in a very close and interesting game, score 28-12, by the fast Wantagh toam, who so kindly consented to sub¬ stitute at tbe last moment Jcfter the Hempstead team had cancelled. Dancing after the game waa enjoyed
very much. Next week Merrick wlll be the visiting team. The game will start at 8.;iO. Everyone Is urged to help the team. Fine music for danc¬ ing after the game.
North Main Bowling Alleys.
Last Wednesday evening the new management gave a large turkey to the person making the largest single score on the newly flnlshed alleys.
A large crowd was present and needless to say much enthuisasm and friendly rivalry prevailed.
A Nassau Post reporter learned from Mr. Iverson that arrangements were being made to give a substantial prize for both ladles and gentlemen on Friday evening, Dec. 24, to the successful winners of the highest av¬ erage score between now and that time.
I'arties are coining nightly trom Baldwin. Merrick. Bellmore. Smith¬ ville South and Wantagh to enjoy and participate in t!ie sport.
