The few cans provid¬ ed are absolutely insiifllcient and their use is not enforced.
There are stringent laws against dogs heing allowed on the beach or in any part of Uu> village without a leach. These are actively enforced, yet I have never seen anyone remon¬ strated with or arrested or lined fo/ leaving refuse on the beacli. I feel thai if examples were made of such individuals and the laws as they stand enforced strenuously for a week this heacli would remain perfectly clean, and once more be the beautiful and health giving resort tbat it should be for the benolil of the puhlic,
