If there be not sufflcient funds in tho county treasury to pay the share of the county, the county treasurer la hereby authorized and empowered to borrow. In anticipation of taxea to bo collected there¬ for or of the Issuance of bonds as hereby provided, such an amount as may be nec- ciwary, and Is hereby authorized to pledge the faith and credit of tho county for the payment, with Interest, of the moneya go borrowed.
The board of supervisors of the county may by resolution authorize the Issuanco nf county highway bonda. In amounts to be determined by such board, the proceeds of which shall be applied to the payment of the share of the cost of construction or Improvement of such highway to be borno by the counly as hereinbefore provided. Such bonds ahall be payable not more than thirty yeara from their dale.
The board of aupervlaors shall provide for the assessment, levy and collection by tax of tha moneys required to meet tha obligation of the county for its share of the coat of auch Improved highway: and the moneya so daiaed aheUI be paid Into the county treasury and shall become available for the draft or re<]ulsltlon of the state commission of hlg-hways, or for the payment of moneys borrowed by the County treasurer as hereinbefore provided together with Interest thereon, or for the payment of bonds and tho Interest there¬ on Issued as hereinbefore provided, or any pnrt thereof.
