How You Can Do Your Bit"
THE following suggestions may be of value as illustrating how you can "do your bit" in cooi)erating in the use of telephone service, which is of such vital importance to the Nation at this time:
Take good care of your telephone Inatruments and corda, so that they will not become damaged. A broken instrument or a wet telephone cord may cause aerious interruption to your service and require labor and costly materials to repair. Take good care ot your telephone switchboard. With the present scarcity of all materials required in the telephone business, conservation of tele¬ phone equipment is essential. Avoid unnecessary calls and help keep the lines open for important messages. Avoid especially "curiosity calls" In times of emergency — calls that may seriously interfere with Important service.
The* Cooperation of all telephone users is neceosary at the present time to assure high grade service for coqi- iqerclal use and for the National Defense.-
