The ninety-seventh anniversary of the founding of the Independent Or¬ der of Odd Fellows was flttingly cele¬ brated with speeches, music and re¬ freshments by Freeport Lodge No. 60f). !n Mechanics' Hall. Monday evening. The Rev. J. Sidney Gould. Albln N. Johnson and others spoke. A musical program was glvpn and ice cream and cake were served to 200 guests anfl members. It being ladles' night.

The dining room was decorated in white and yelicw, the color sciieme Veing carried out mainly by the use of cluster? of daffodils and white car¬ nations. A large yellow rose, fliled witli favors, consisting of siuelllng salts bottles, formed the centrepiece of the table and the ribbon connect¬ ing with Miss Hawkins' place was fastened to the engagement ring.
Miss Hawkins wore yellow satin taffeta, trimnied with lace and a corsage boiiiyiet of orchids. Mr§. Hawkins, her mother. wore white Georgette and taffeta. Mrs. Nos¬ worlhy. the fiance's mother, wore cream lace over pink taffeta. Mrs. Denny, the latter's mother, in black taffeta, and Mrs. Hoag. in white crepe-de-chine.
Miss Hawkins is a niember of the Delta Sigma Soroity and forinerly re¬ sided at 470 Clinton avenue. Brook¬ lyn. Mr. Nosworlhy is a graduate of Poly., and a member of Omega Gumma Delta and Oasis, and formerly lived in Brooklyn.
