Christmas services will be held In fhe Memorial church next Sunday when appropriate music will be sung, and the pastor, Rev. T, S. Braith¬ waite, will deliver Christmas sermons. In the morning the subject will be •The Wonderful Child." In the evening his theme will be "How the Incarnation Ministers to the Loneli¬ ness of Man." .At this service It is ex¬ pected that Howard Austin of Amity¬ ville will sing a solo. All are welcome at these services.
The second annual dinner of the Bellmore Yacht Club was held last Saturday night at the Wantagh Hotel when a large number of men sat down to a fine supper, supplied by Mrs, Ultsch, After the repast Commodore James E, Place presided as toastmab- ter and addressed the members of the club and their friends. Speeches were also delivered by Justice Corodon Norton, Birdeall Jackson, Father King and Rev. Thomas S. Braithwaite. The yacht club has just built a commo¬ dious clilb house on the Bellmoru Creek.
