And Rapes

For State Emergency
Nassau County police are hunting
the man depicted above who is
wanted in connection with a
series of house robberies, a rape
and two attempted rapes. The
picture is a composite sketch
made by police artists following
interviews with the man's vic-tims.
The robberies have been
committed in Woodbury,
Massapequa, Rockville Centre
and Franklin Square during the
past six months.
Police have described the man
as being male, black, :{5 to 40
years old, six feet tall, weighing
about 2(N) pounds, having a
mustache and short hair. He is
said to be of stocky build, neat
and well dressed and may be
operating a late model Chevrolet
Nova colored lime green or blue.
According to the police, the
man's modus operandi is usually
to ring a doorbell and ask for
directions or use of a telephone,
then producing a weapon and
demanding money and jewelry.
In several instances he has made
sexual advances but will not
persist if resisted.

confidential.
Members of the Malverne Fire Department and the Malverne Volunteer Ambulance Corps are
