To Speak
Peter Benchley, author of the
best selling novel JAWS will
speak at the Seventh Annual
Book and Author Luncheon,
sponsored by the P'ine Arts
Committee of the Village of
Lynbrook.
JAWS, published by
Doubleday, is the story of a Long
Island resort town that is set upon
by a rare and fearsome creature,
the great white shark. A superbly
exciting novel, JAWS is also a
tale of moral dilemma. To read
the first few pages of Peter
Benchley's book is to be com-pelled
to read them all as quickly
as you can turn the pages. JAWS
is soon to be made into a major
motion picture by Universal
Productions.
Peter Benchley is the third

his father is the novelist,
Nathaniel, and his grandfather
was the humorist, Robert Ben-chley.
