The Move
President Barry Van Name,

for a Chamber Newspaper, and a
new much needed Village
Directory which will go to all
residents and be of immense help
in the community in listing the
very large number of
organizations and type of
programs Lynbrook, U.S.A. has
to offer. All Board of Directors
members and regular Chamber

working meetings which will be
bound to benefit everyone in
business in this area.
The Annual Chamber of
Commerce Christmas Program
will be one of the most important
topics discussed at the General
Meeting held on Sept. 19th at
National Bank of North America.
Many residents do not know that
this annual program is one of the
best on the South Shore and put
on and financed by the Chamber
with the aid of the Village of
Lynbrook, the Fire and Pohce
Dept. on Thanksgiving Day when
Santa Claus comes in his
helicopter and the beautiful lights
go on on Thanksgiving eve. Mr.
Harry Garrison, President of the
Malverne Merchants Assoc. was
Guest Speaker at the Board of
Directors Meeting this week and
explained how successfully the
Malverne Merchants Newspaper
had worked for that community.
It was an inspiring meeting and
very well attended.
