Lynbrook Mayor Francis X. Becker, one of the honored speakers, delivers a tribute to those who died
on the battlefield, and e}q)resses the hope shared by all Americans - "That their great sacrifice - and
the sacrifice being made now by our boys in Viet Nam - will make us a stronger country and a United
people prepared to obey and iphold the Laws of our Land in a true display of Patriotism and an honest
quest for Peace." In the foreground is Parade Marshal Nicholas Kalpakas, and on the platform with the
Mayor are Master of Ceremonies, Joseph Heleniak, Deputy Mayor Buzzeo, the Trustees and honored
guests.
