The letter follows in full:
• "We were gratified to read In a
Preeport newspaper a statement to
the effect that the Village Board
has not yet taken any official stand
on the desirability of having the
proposed Town of Hemp-^tead park

"It was also very heartening to
learn that you ore interested In determining
by suiTfly or other
means what the actual mmh of
Preeport voters and taxpayers want
us to do in this matter.* ^
