Honoring Our Veterans
On Saturday, November 5, three girl scouts and three boy scouts
came together to place American flags on the graves of veterans at Saint
Margaret's Cemetery in Plainview. Eighty seven flags honored veterans
from each of the U.S. armed forces and the Royal Air Force. To mark this
special occasion, a parishoner played "Taps" on his bugle and another
p^rishoner, an Eagle Scout provided guidance and leadership to the
younger scouts. The cemetery at Saint Margaret's is open to all Christians
and provides support to families of the deceased throughout the year.
