The Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, Auxiliary Bishop of the Roman
Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre and Bishop Designate, Diocese of
Manchester, was the principal celebrant of a Mass honoring 82 couples
from 45 parishes in Nassau and Suffolk Counties who celebrated their
golden wedding anniversaries. (Continued on page 10)

On Saturday Nov. 5, 2011 at 9:19 am, Nassau County Fire
Communications notified the Bethpage fire dispatcher of a house
fire at 68 Wilson Lane. The Bethpage dispatcher also received sev-eral
other phone calls from area residents reporting this fire. The
Bethpage Volunteer Fire Dept was immediately alerted to respond.
Incident Commander Assistant Chief James Baudille (Car 2) and
Assistant Chief Richard Baudille ( Car 4) arrived three minutes later
and announced via radio that this was a " working fire" - heavy
