Bethpage High School Holds
Traditional Italian Feast
The aroma of baked ziti, chicken marsala, sausage and meatballs,
and many other Italian favorites wafted through Bethpage High
School's hallways as the Italian Society hosted its 39th annual Italian
Feast, thanks to the efforts of
teacher Signor Maio. This year's
event again featured delectable
homemade dishes by Bethpage
Italian language students, staff,
PTA volunteers, friends, and
family members
Signor Maio initiated the
Italian Society in 1976. This
year's event was yet another
success as attendees enjoyed a
delicious homemade meal and
dessert. Italian Society mem-bers
once again spent a great
deal of time and effort festively embellishing the small gymnasium
with colorful streamers, flags, and decorations.

Superintendent of Schools Terrence
Clark to the annual "festa."
Bethpage High School students enjoyed their meal as well as the
camaraderie at the annual Italian Feast. IS us
