Duke-Denver Lacrosse Bethpage High School's Superstars
Game Tickets to be Sold
Bethpage High School will host a NCAA men's lacrosse game
on April 9 at 2 p.m., with Duke University playing against the
University of Denver on the High School's state-of-the-art athlet-ic
complex. This event, which is the highest level of Men's
Division I Lacrosse, is the result of a collaboration between the
Bethpage Education Foundation and the Town of Oyster Bay.
Now is the time to purchase tickets for this game, which will
surely be sold out!
Tickets will be sold at Bethpage High School, located at 10
Cherry Avenue in Bethpage, in the building's cafeteria. Bethpage
residents will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets
on Saturday, March 19, between 10 a.m.-l p.m. Tickets will be
sold to the general public on Saturday, March 26, from 10 a.m.-l
p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under age 12,
and are limited to 10 per person. All proceeds go to the Bethpage
Educational Foundation to support the mission of the communi-ty's
schools. Cash/check payments are preferred, however. Visa
or MasterCard transactions can be pr^jS-sjed as well (not
American Express).
Volunteers Needed for
"Battle in Bethpage"
The Bethpage Educational Foundation is sponsoring a major
NCAA Men's Lacrosse game between Duke University and the
University of Denver on April 9,2011 at 2PM at the Bethpage
Athletic Complex. We are anticipating a crowd of about 6,000
people. There will also be a Youth Clinic on Friday April 8 at
4PM at Bethpage High School. The Bethpage Boys' Lacrosse
Team will play Lawrence at 10AM on Saturday and the Girls'
Team will play Macarthur at 5PM.
We could use some parent volunteers to assist with:
• Ticket Sales at BHS on March 26
• Assist with the Youth Clinic on Friday April 8 at 4P.M.
• Security/hospitality for the day of the game on April 9
• Program sales on the day of the game on April 9
• General Setup on Friday and Saturday.

available and what responsibility you would like assist us with.
We will be having a Volunteer Information Meeting on
Wednesday March 23 at 7:30PM at Bethpage High School.
All proceeds from the day will be going to the Foundation to
support educational activities in the Bethpage School District.

The Bethpage Union Free School District is pleased to announce that Jermaine
John, Hanna Kim, and Jasdeep Singh, seniors at Bethpage High School, have attained
much success for their academic and/or athletic achievements.
Jermaine John won the Nassau County Championship for wrestling on February 13.
Jermaine plans to sign a letter of intent to wrestle once he decides on the college he will
attend in the fall of 2011.
Hanna Kim will be attending the United States Military Academy at West Point for
the Class of 2015. Hanna wishes to follow up her education at the highest level, bring-ing
with her the morals and ethics she has learned while at Bethpage High School.
Jasdeep Singh was named a Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program, after
earning Semifinalist standing in the fall of 2010. Jasdeep is currently waiting on deci-sions
from Columbia University, New York University, and SUNY Stony Brook.
