The proposed extension of' Henry street south to the
Hanse Park area makes a municipal parking field more
vitally necessary than ever before on the north side of
Mill road between Main street and St. John's place. Village
Trustee Cord Viebrock told the- Exchange Club at its
luncheon December 12 in the Elks Club.

Housed at Camp Kilmer
Taken By Sunrise Van
Residents of Preeport will have
their final opportunity on Saturday
to provide gifts for the new citizens
from Hungary who are being,housed
at Camp Kilmer, N. J.
Pat Sciallo, ownac of the Sunrise
Storage, as the local representative
of tJie United Van JLinea, Inc,
said no used clothing or pertshablp
goods are desired. Instead razors
and blades, small -tdys, candles, and
pMhaps new shirts and sp<;ks are
desired with cosmetios for the women.
These should bf packed In
cartons measuring about 30 inches
square, say 8 by 6 inches on the top.
and a IL^t of the contents pasted
on the sWe.
A moving van will be stationed
at the Municipal Park Saturday
from 8:30 A.M;, to 6 PM.. for the
receiving of the gifts. They may also
be talten to the atarebouse of the
Sunrise Storage Co., 30 East Merrick
road, prior to Saturday.
