FHS wins in overtime, 41-35

RED DEVILS WIN A THRILLER: Freeport's football team came back from a 13-point deficit to beat the Qceanside Sailors 41-35 in overtime before a large crowd at Freeport. The Red Devils will host Baldwin at 3 p.m. Saturday to start the playoffs.

THE FREEPORT FIRE DEPARTMENT in. conjunction with the Freeport Chamber of Commerce held their 22st Annual Rre Expo and Fall Festival/Halloween Parade on the Nautical Mile. Town of Hempstead Councilwoman Dorothy Goosby enjoyed the festivities and congratulated Chamber of Commerce President Jerri Quibell and Mayor Andrew Hardwick during the festival.
