Watery wonderland in South Freeport

THE PERFECT STORM LER SOUTH FREEPORT under water this past Monday, of their front doors and into the street. At left is a view of Manhattah: Street lool<ing thanl<s to a full moon, a high tide and a low pressure system during a heavy rain- west from the Nautical Mile. At right is a view of the fueling station at the end of storm. Gracious living in Freeport
OLD HOUSE TOUR: Lucky neighbors had the opportunity to get a peek of former Freeport Mayor William Glacken. Above is the former home of
inside five of Freeport's historic homes last Sunday. This annual event is sponsored by the Freeport Historical Society. Included on the tour were the former homes of local celebrities including the Spanish-style villa on Randall's Bay that once belonged to Victor Moore and the boyhood home
vaudevillian and LIGHTS Club board member Jean Bedini. This house was built in 1913 during the Arts and Crafts movement. It featured hardwood floors, a beautiful staircase and seasonal murals on the ceiling.
