Cobblestone kids graduate
COBBLESTONE DAY SCHOOL held its graduation moving-up ceremony recently. The mission of the Cobblestone Day School is to promote early literacy. Their goal is to encourage confident, self-sufficient young learners who will develop into our leaders of tomorrow. Valerie Cobbs, the director of the Cobblestone Day School, gives the children wings to fly. Mayor Andrew Hardwick attended the graduation and received an Honorary Cobblestone Kid Award.

dramatists perform
Under the direction of music teacher Scott Stolzenberg, the drama clubs at Milburn and Steele Schools presented their tenth annual productions this spring. At Milburn School, 50 third, fourth and fifth graders delighted audiences with a production of "The Mickey Mouse Club" and at Steele School, 35 fourth and fifth graders gave it all in "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown." Both drama clubs received grants from the Baldwin Foundation for Education and are also supported by PTA.
