THE FREEPORT ROTARY CLUB held its annual turkeys to nine different organizations in Freeport. In
Thanksgiving turkey distribution at Compare Foods in addition, the club also donated 40 Kosher chickens to

Join friends and neighbors for the Third Annual Holiday Boat Parade and Caroling Cruises sponsored by the Freeport Chamber of Commerce. . • Kickoff the holiday season with this furilevent "on Friday, December 5, at 7 p.m. The ,parade, will be led by the Captain Lou Fleet, the.Nautical Erhpress and'tlie<-Miss Freeport; who will offer, rides, to carolers, and "to, the' public. Decorated private and commercial boats will parade along Wopdclefl Canal and neighboring canals.
The Freeport Chamber of Commerce is asking residents along the parade route to get in the spirit: and to decorate their backyards for a friendly competition. There will be prizes for the best decorate ed boats and residential backyards that will be determined by an impartial panel of judges including Mrs. Santa herself.

IN BALDWIN
The Baldwin Chamber of Commerce will host the Christmas Tree Lighting and Celebration on Sunday, December 7, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Baldwin train station.
Come , welcome the holiday season with the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. Refreshments for all! Santa will arrive via fire truck to visit with the children. "Reindeer" rides for the kids, and entertainment by local musicians and dancers, will be offered.
The Menorah Lighting Ceremony will be held on Monday, December 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Baldwin train station. Join Rabbi Antonio of the South Baldwin Jewish Center as the chamber, lights the menorah.
