Archer students redo 'The Polar Express'

students at the Archer Street School,spent a fun-filled week engaging in a series of math and English language arts activities "centered around a favorite holiday story, "The Polar Express." Each child received a ticket and used their imaginations as they "rode" the train to the North Pole. From left are first-graders Emerson Ortiz, Mauralee Martinez, Valentina Vinasco and Cesar Mendez.
BHS supports Toys for Tots
Baldwin High School contributed new toys for disadvantaged children to the 60th Annual Marine Toys for Tots Foundation toy drive. Legislator Bob Barra presented the high'school with a certificate thanking the student
body for its generosity and holiday spirit this sea-- son. Baldwin High School Assistant Principal Linda Kellner and drug and alcohol counselor Amy Frawley helped bring this effort to Baldwin High School.
