Forty Baldwin High School students recently participated in the 13th Annual Mercy Medical Center Shadow Day.
The students shadowed medical professionals in a variety of departments in the hospital, such as respiratory therapy, social work, and public relations. In addition, the
students observed a Code Pink drill, in which hospital staff practiced preventative measures in a possible infant abduction. At the evening reception, students and their families met again with their mentors in the high school cafeteria where they shared memories of the day.
