The highlight of the proceedings

country and for freedom for people
everywhere."
He stressed that no space
launch is ever routine and will

we ha\'e to follow in order to
make airplanes and spacecraft
fly. "But why do thej- realty fly?"
he asked. "Because people Ukc
you have unflagging interest.
because they work on making
components, such as here on
Long Island, assemble them, use
their skills and furnish the labor
and means that really create these
flying machines and space
shuttles."
