Ladies Auxiliary of the'
Freeport Chamber - of
Commerce is sponsoring a
bus trip to Trump Plaza in
Atlantic City on Saturday,
September 12,
The luxury bus will
leave from the Elks Plaza
near the National Weit-minster
Bank at 3:30 pm
and arrive, back in
Freeport at 3:30 am Sunday.
The cost of $35 per
person includes SIS,
which will be returned in
coins to use in the machines,
and SS for dinner.
Refreshments will be
served going and continental
breakfast will be
served oh the return trip.
A waitress will be on
board to serve the passengers.
Tripgoers can bring their
ov(a liquor; set-ups .will,
be provided On the trip.

Biuedrass Concert At Cow Meadow
FREEPORT - A tree' elude a mix of Bluegrass,
swing and old time tunes.
Featured will be twin fiddles,
banjo breakdowns,
Gospel quartets and sing-alongs.
Between sets, the
dance company will perform
Country Clogging,
Western Swing and Tap.
The. concert will go on
as ' scheduled, rain or
shine.' In the event of
rain, the location will be
changed to Freeport High
School.
Cooperating with the
Arts Council in presenting
the program are the
Villagi of' Freeport and
the Nassau County
Department of Recreation
and Parks. Partial funding
Was provided by the Nassau
County Office of
Cultural. Develojsment.

and Pat Cannon's Foot, and
Fiddle. Company. These

throughout the states at
festivals, ' competitions,
special engagements and
such clubs as the. Lone
Star Cafe, City Limits,
My Father's Place and Eagle
Tavern.
