FREEPORT - At Hs Monday evening, April 28»h open lepslative
session, the Freepnt Village Board a Trustees voted iu approval of a
suggestion by Trosise Ralph Smith to establish a Freep<nt Advisory
Task Fmee on Dregs.
Smith's recommendation came one week after two Freeport residents,
members of the civic
organization Concerned Neigh- ••
bots, charged that "the Village of
Freeport does not have a hudle

GOING TO THE STATE FINALS. The tivo girl bowling team, that won
the New York State Team Elimination Tournament at Shirley Bowl
on April S, pose with their winning plaques at the Awards Breakfast
held recently for participants In the Recreation Department's Junior
Community Bowling Program. The girts wlil now represent Long Island
In the upcoming New York State Team Finals In Syracuse on May 3.
