In the first inddent. a 22-yiear-oldTrceporl
woman was asleep in
the downstairs den of a house on
South Long Beach Avenue, when
' antrnknown man apparently, entered
through an unlocked rear
door.
It was about 3ilS am and the in-trader
awoke his intended
victim, covering his mouth with
his right hand.
Threatening to till the young
woman, the man allegedly told
her he was going to rape her.
The young woman bit the hand
covering her month and started
_(Q>cream as he dropped his hand.
The suspect ran from the house
bleeding, hu victim unhurt.
The suspect has been described
as a male hispanic, about 20-
years old, 5'9' tall and wdghing
about ISO lbs., with a medium
build. He is said to have straight,

Baldwin Junior High-Prospect Sdiools complex, attended the August
28th Town of Hempstead Board meeting. They had with them a
petition with about 35naroe$, representing 21 homes. While approving

District, who has sold the parcel '

Rresent plans for the use of the
property call for the construction
of 32 one. bedroom imita and 44
two-bedroom ones, with those
larger usiti each having a one
car garage. Also in the plans are
an aidditional 1S2 parking spaces.
According to AI August, president

the condominiums are presently
