FREEPORT - An attempt by Freeport Democratic Party mayoralty
candidate Eugene P. Devany to form a "'coalition'' with the Nu Citizens
Party was short-lived this week. As liie day for candidates to submit

not a coalition at all by Nu Citizens
Party spokespersons. No

That's not a union,"
stated Imburgio.
What Devany had proposed
before the Chamber wasjhe said,
embodied in a proposed but
unreleased "press release"
- which he said he was submitting
to the Nu Citizens Party. The
proposal, as Devany explained it.
