its present route and opened a
tenninal at 5 Fteeport Plaza
West. Effecthre Match 13.
Adirondack TraUways expanded
its daily nxstorcoach operations
from Long Island, adding Free-port
9nd Mineola to the present
route which also-serves Hempstead
and Queens Wlage.

FREEPORT - William Cominos. a 39 year old Freeport bom father of
three, has'joined Freeport School Board trustee James Parola in
antiouncing that h^ will run for the Board of Education this soring.
There will be two seats on the Board to be filled when the voters in the
Freeport School District take to the polls on May 14..Parola announced
his decision to seek a second term
two weeks ago.
The second seat is presently
occupied by Ed Monroe, also at
the end of his first term as
trustee. Monroe told THE
LEADER this week that he has
dedded tot to seek_re-election
because ct the time he presently
needs to finish his doctoral'dls-'
