the village's Police Department
have agreed* on a one-yeai
contract carrying an 8% bcrease
hi salary. At the Village Board
meetbg on Monday, March 10,

contract which Freeport Police
Benevolent Association (PBA)

FREEPORT- A village-based "off-Broadway" drama company will
be opcijing a theatre on the Freeport Mall in several montiis. if all goes
according to schedule and the wishes of Richard Wjcr. the producer of
Actors Cabaret Theatre. After years of looking for a permanent
location within the village of Freeport. Wter suddenly has been gifted
with a one year of free rent at - _
74 Freeport Mall by the property's
owner. Earl Glantz, a Mall
businessman.
Over the past few years,
Actors Cabaret Theatre has
presented its shows in New Ycnk
City, hi such spots as the 18th
