FREEPORT - A "total" Qode of jordinances for Freeport Mall will be
recommended at a future meetirig. Mayor William H. White said this
week. The depisjon to deal with all matters involving the Mall together,
rather than piecemeal, followed a discussion of bicycles on that pedestrian
shopping area.. Bicycles on the Mall were the first item oh the
agenda of the Freeport Board-of

Police Stymie Two Mall-Area Crimes
FREEPORT jiBerween 11:05 pm on Saturday. August S.and 2:31 am
Sunday. August 6. alert action hy village police blocked two crimes
occuring on and near the Freeport Mall. The first incident, taking place
on the Mall itself, was brought to the police's attention by an eyewitness
who had seen two youths smashing the windows- of National
