Frceport voted to expand its
membership' to include laity,
according to Rev. James Wentz.

came before the Village Board of Trustees Monday evening and asked
them to ajlow him to expand his services to his custofflers4>y increasing
the amount of equipment he has. Presently, he has one cab and would
like to add four more. The number of medallions in use in the village is
spelled out in a village ordinance.

IN THE 8PJRIT OF THE SEASON tari fourth grade Colufflbus Avenuo
School •tudents recently visited the South Shore Nursing Home and
gave each of the residents a holiday gift they tiad made, an ecology box
filled with colorful natural materials^ such as shells,.tyeans and rocks.
The youngsters, who had Just completed a unit on Mental Health, by
their-School Principal Anthony Duhamel and Nurse^Teacher Pat
C/Isafullii who taught the unit on Mental Health classes..The ecology
boxes, in addition to demonstrating the pupils' Interest In others, was
evidence of what the /oungsters are learning In their year-long ecology
project.
