Board approval was given to

. Wfrite in cancelling a contract
between the village and-Poor
Richard - Associates, a public
relations agency which had been
hired to advertise and promote
, Freeport's Community Development

Acting on the recommendation
of James Dunne, director of

. Thomas DeVincenzq, village
clerk, the board terminated the.

violations of the", agreement.
Poor Richard Associates "con-sistently
violated any understanding
they had" with village
officials, stated White.
'According'to DeVincenzo, the
.firm had contracted for services
ar costs greater than the budget
allowed. In all. through their

Five parcels of village-owned;
land in the industrial park area
will be offered for sale through •
the Town of Hempstead Local

as well asfuture tax revenues.
"The people being considered,"
explained White, "are existing
industriar users in the park."
^Purchases must be accompanied
by an agreement from the owner
that the property be "developed
