-FREEPORT - The Sooth Mafai,
Streeif office of the Long Island
Trust Company was held up,
Tuesday morning, by a lone'
bandit, presumed to be in his
mid-20's. The bank reported a
loss of $2,350.
Nassau County police- report

man simulated a gun in his podcet
and passed a note to a ,teikr
printed on apaper bag to pot the
money in the bag and return to
him. No one else knew about the
inddenf until the transfer was"
effected. Bank sources stress that
the safety of their patrons and
