Our Village, is a waterfront
community known as "The
Boating and Fisliing^CapJtal^f

based upon the knowledge of
many prominent environmentalists,
thai oil drilling
in the Atlantic Ocean will result
in irreparable damage to the
environment, including fish,
i)jrds. wild.life and recreational
beach areas, as well as creating
. serious hcaHh / hnzards. in
Freeporl in view of the nuniehms

We, ask your help in doing
everything possible to prevent
the proposed drilling for oil in the
off-shor.e waters of Long Island."
