Flint, who served the community
In many capacities and who died In
Mercy Hospital Friday afternoon.
Judge Flint as he was generally
known, lived at 258 South Ocean
avenue. He had been ill since September,
1951, suffered a heart attack
on Sunday, Decemlicr 28, and
ling-ered until his deaUi.
Bom in New Berlin. N.Y., 78
years ago, Mr. Film was graduated
fi-«m Rochester Unlvefslty In 1898
a»d from the Cornell Law School
in JSOJ when he was admitted to
the bar. He opened an office in
H-verhead in 1901 and in 1903. Just
about 50 yea.rs ago, located in Prt;c-pon.
His office was located first in
tSje First National Bank Building
and 35 years ago he moved to the
Poremaji Building at Main street
and Brooklyn aven«e, where he had
heen located ever since.

serving two yeaara before being succeeded
by Cfyril C. Ryan, Again

promulgated, including the new
system of parking fields, sewers lor
the southern end of the village, the
reopening of the Long Island HaU
•Road grade crossing project and a
system of paries to serve the vari-

Work has been started on the construction
of a shelter for the com-fori
of the airplane spotters on the
roof of the Meadow Brook National
Bank. The structure will be seven
feet square and eight leet in height.
I t will have faollltles for observance
of the skies on all sides and
will be heated. Fred S. Howell has
the coiitract for the project.
